Preschool Assistant Teacher
We're looking for a Preschool Assistant Teacher at KiDiMu!
KiDiMu is seeking a motivated, compassionate professional who is passionate about early childhood education to join our preschool team as a Preschool Assistant Teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a play-based learning environment that supports curiosity, creativity, and inclusion.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Lead Teacher to support engaging activities and learning exercises while helping maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all children. You may lead small group activities, assist in supervising both indoor and outdoor free play, and help foster social-emotional growth in each child.
Additional responsibilities include helping track student behavior and progress, supporting communication with families, and contributing to a nurturing environment where every child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

Job Duties
Assist lead teacher with activities and instruction
Help maintain records of student progress and needs
Help keep learning areas tidy and safe
Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
Support children with special or individual needs
Assist during snack time and student restroom breaks
Accompany class during nature walks and field trips
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
At least one year of experience working with preschool age children in an educational environment
A passion for early childhood education and helping children grow in positive ways
First Aid and CPR certification
Excellent communication skills
Flexible, patient, great sense of humor

Compensation
This is a part-time position for the 2025–2026 school year, scheduled for 22.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation range: $18.50–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
