DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

I’m the Director of Education, and one of my favorite things about working at KiDiMu is how it brings a sense of joy and connection to everyone who walks through the doors—including me!
My favorite exhibit is the grocery store. As a child, playing grocery store was always my favorite activity, and now, stepping into that exhibit as an adult brings back a flood of nostalgic memories. I still love pretending to be the checkout person and scanning all the food—it never gets old!
What truly makes KiDiMu special to me is the people. From the incredible coworkers who’ve become dear friends, to the wonderful families and visitors we get to welcome every day—it’s the community that makes this place magical.
And if I had to pick a favorite event, it would be Fam Jam! It’s such a vibrant celebration of community. I love how we get to partner with so many amazing organizations to bring the event to life. Between the touch-a-truck experience, lively performances, and a variety of community booths, there’s truly something for everyone. It’s a day full of fun for the whole family, and I look forward to it every year.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

I’m the Development Director here at KiDiMu—and I’ve been on the team for about a month and a half now!
What makes KiDiMu special to me is how it sparks wonder, curiosity, and pure joy for kids and grown-ups alike.
And if I ever had to lead a preschool class dressed as my favorite childhood character, you’d definitely find me as one of the Care Bears!

I'm a Managing Director at JLL, where I’m part of the Corporate Capital Markets team. I specialize in sale leasebacks and real estate advisory services for a diverse range of clients—including private equity firms, corporations, investment banks, franchisees, developers, and family offices. My work focuses on the disposition, acquisition, and capitalization of net lease office, industrial, and retail properties across the country. With a background in law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy, I bring a deep understanding of each client’s objectives and pride myself on delivering strategic, results-driven solutions.
Before joining JLL, I practiced law at Eldridge Cooper Steichen & Leach, PLLC in Tulsa, supporting both litigation and transactional clients. I also served as a Director within the Real Estate Services organization at Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX), and later as a Senior Director at Northmarq. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Bonaventure University, where I played on the golf team, and earned my J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. My wife and I live on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with our three kids—grateful to call this vibrant community home.

I’ve spent the majority of my career supporting undergraduate and graduate students as a recruiter and program manager, with a strong focus on STEM career development. Over the years, I’ve secured funding from government agencies to launch new projects and programs, consulted on strengthening university-industry partnerships, and helped build out managerial and HR infrastructures to support growing teams. In 2019, my family relocated to Bainbridge Island as my wife and I stepped into caregiving roles for her parents. A year later, we welcomed twin boys, Rowan and Edmond. Today, the six of us share a home on the island—along with our energetic Airedale Terriers, Macallan and Harper.

I'm the Store Manager at BIMA, where I get to combine my love of art, storytelling, and thoughtful retail experiences. Originally from Denver, Colorado, I moved to the Pacific Northwest after falling in love with the region's natural beauty and vibrant arts community. I earned a BS in Journalism and a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a study abroad trip to Paris in the summer of 2008 sealed the deal on my passion for museums, travel—and a great gift shop.
Before joining BIMA, I spent ten years working for my family’s online children’s toy store, Imagine Childhood. There, I wore many hats—from buyer and content creator to social media manager and customer support—gaining a deep appreciation for storytelling through objects and experiences.
Outside of work, I enjoy metal-smithing, fashion and visible mending, climbing mountains, horseback riding, and sailing with my family. My husband and I live on Bainbridge Island with our two adventurous young daughters.
