First Fridays ART WALK at KiDiMu
Join us on the first Friday of every month as KiDiMu stays open late to participate in the Bainbridge Island Art Walk — a celebration of creativity, community, and hands-on fun!
🕐 Museum open to the public: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
🎨 Art Walk Late Night: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🎨 Arts & Crafts with Young Art Docents
During Art Walk (5–8 PM), KiDiMu welcomes talented young artists (ages 18–25) who share their trades and creative skills with visiting families. Children can explore hands-on crafts and artistic experiences such as:
- Origami
- Dot art
- Painting
- Ceramics
- And other creative projects
This is a special opportunity for kids to create alongside emerging artists while supporting local talent and the arts in our community.
Drop-Off Option (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Parents can register children for a supervised drop-off Art Walk experience.
Pricing:
- $45 per child
- $5 sibling or friend discount
- 10% off for Museum Members
- $10 per child for All Access Members
Advance registration is required for the drop-off program.
Pay-What-You-Wish Fridays
During Art Walk evenings, pay-what-you-wish donations are warmly accepted. Your generosity helps us update and enhance exhibits, develop new programs, and ensure KiDiMu remains a welcoming place where every child can learn, grow, and belong.
Regular museum admission applies during our normal public hours (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM) on Art Walk days.
